62% of Canadians Prioritize Environment Over Energy Prices

“Sixty-two percent of those surveyed said protecting the environment is more important to them than the price of energy,” van Loon writes, and 53% said businesses should be taxed based on their greenhouse gas emissions. One-third opposed new fossil fuel or carbon taxes.
