Solar Power Breakthrough Hints at Cheaper Panels for More Roofs
An emerging new recipe for solar cell semiconductors could point the way to a cheaper, (even) more environmentally friendly product that faces fewer regulatory hurdles. The cells convert the sun’s energy less efficiently than the best available, but they may be simpler and less expensive to manufacture.
